Title: Read and drow in English
Students level: the 11th form pupils (beginners, intermediate)
Project idea:
Students will chose an abridged tale, a story, a fable such like : “The Little House”, "The Frog Princess”, ”The Lion and the Mouse” (the Aesop's fable) to read it to the 5th form pupils.
Objectives:
1.To encourage youngster’s reading pleasure through reading tales.
2.To apply pupil-pupil education .
3.To encourage pupils to become active literacy supporters.
Timetable/Schedule for the project: February 2015
Process: The 11th form pupils will be split into four groups as well as the 5th form pupils, and during of a month period they will read,whatch the chosen short videos, drow to younger pupils.

Process: The 11th form pupils will be split into four groups as well as the 5th form pupils, and during of a month period they will read,whatch the chosen short videos, drow to younger pupils.
During the first week the 11th grade pupils will introduce the content of the story, will have to work with the unknown words, their pronunciation and spelling to the 5th form pupils. During the second week the 5th form will practice the correct reading of the stories (and their translation). During the third week the 9th form pupils are to make them, the 5th form pupils, to draw pictures on the content of the story with some description on the bottom of the papers.( as many pictures to comprise the whole story), if they are good enough you can teach them to role-play it. On the fourth week you are to record the pupils using one on-line platform (Utellstory, Narrator, Voicethread or Movenote) or shooting them using a videocamera, or just take pictures and create a movie-presentation using Animoto or Stupeflix platforms. | Evaluation. Prepare a presentation of your work to be presented in the period of the English-Week in our school which will be deployed during the February month. Looking forward your results! |
